She was at high school with my sister Claire, and as much as I want to write about all of what that means, I won’t. The best memory I have of her is her coming into the kitchen on a Sunday morning, wearing my dad’s old shirt and my sister’s sweatpants, picking up the Sunday edition of the Guardian and flipping through to this huge spread of herself and being like, “Oh weird, I had no idea there’d be that much spaghetti.”
